About Bobby

Bobby started playing guitar during college, but really didn't spend much time working on his skill until much later. Then one day in 2003 he had an idea to try an open mic event. Although his hands were shaking, his mouth went dry and he couldn't do his third song, life as he knew it, changed. The music bug had bitten, a whole new world opened up and things haven't been the same since.  James Taylor was probably the biggest musical influence on Bobby, but he loves today's new country songs by artist such as Jason Aldean, Gary Allan, Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban and so many more. Bobby plays a lot during the summer down along the North Carolina coast in Beaufort where you can find him at the Dock House, Tiki Bar or the Cru Wine Bar and ever so often he will venture over to Swansboro. The Acoustic Highway band is another step in his musical adventure and he really enjoys the diversity of songs and styles in the group.
